14cts of beautifully, graduated opaque, pink Morganite rondelles, presented on a stunningly elegant, simple, Sterling Silver (925), slider bracelet.

These stunning semi-precious stones, which originate from Madagascar, were named in 1910, by Tiffany & Co’s, Chief , Gemologist, George Kuntz, in honour of J.P. Morganite (a close friend and customer).

Morganite is pleochroic, and when it is viewed down its crystallographic axis, the pink/peach colour is further enhanced. The naturally beautiful, tones and hues, being attributed to Mn2+ ions.

Increasingly sought after and used by large jewellery houses, including Tiffany’s of New York, Morganite’s increasing popularity, in place of diamonds, has significantly increased since 2010, as has the price of this beautiful gem.

Morganite in comparison to emerald, lacks inclusions and fractures, which make it more durable and as a result, is increasingly used in engagement and wedding rings, as can be seen in any of the finer jewellery house collections, such as Tiffany & Co, and publications, including Bride magazine.

Each bracelet comes in one of our standard presentation boxes.

For that extra touch of luxury, why not choose one of our solid wood boxes, which can be engraved with a message, to make the gift even more special.
